Knorr-Bremse RailServices operates a state-of-the-art service center in the capital city of Berlin. Thanks to the integration of all key technologies, it is able to carry out almost all repairs and maintenance at one location.

Project-specific content: 

 

Project planning and delivery of a braking system for a research project in accordance with jointly developed specifications in coordination with the consortium partners. 

 

Project planning and delivery of a TCMS architecture including the network components for a train control system with the components of Selectron Systems AG, which has been a 100% subsidiary of Knorr-Bremse AG since 2015. 

 

Development of a new, very compact, 24V Mg brake in low suspension to ensure the required high deceleration and the necessary electronic control components iRCB. 

 

Development of a new, very compact, oil-free air supply system, optimized to the requirements of the vehicle. 

 

Training and support for the consortium partners in all questions relating to the vehicle and provision of railroad technology know-how. This includes the Selectron electronics, the creation of the TCMS and brake-specific application software and the static and dynamic commissioning.
